{january 2011 recap}

--i returned to New York following an 18-day vacation in Salt Lake that had been prolonged due to the Blizzard of December 2010 ... it shut down NY for about 2 weeks and took longer to recover from than anyone would have thought.

--i partook of the usual january activity that i love: pbr at msg. that's pro bull riders invitational at madison square gardens. it's a ton of fun and i am always amazed at the white trash that comes out of the woodworks for this event.

--discovered damnyouautocorrect.com -- it's hilarious.

--had a couple of 'snow days' -- january 2011 was the snowiest month i remember since moving to the city.

--stayed in the trump soho and learned just why 'staycations' in the city are so great. hotels in NYC are epic.

--kept up a few of my usual activities such as liberty view chinese, hill country BBQ, monday night bachelor viewings, the occasional night of football {go jets!}
