4th of July

Having a roommate that works for CNN has definite perks. I have been presented today with the Press Packet from Macy's regarding the 4th of July Fireworks extravaganza.

Said packet includes:
1. Map of the city and the locations of the 8 barges from which the fireworks will be launched.
2. A detailed list of the best viewing spots for the 31st Annual Macy's Fireworks
3. An amazing press write-up that I am going to plagerize:

"Light and thunder will once again roar over Mnahattan as the 31st annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks burst into the night sky...Thundering over New Yrok City's skyline with over 40,000 shells, the 30-minutes Macy's Fireworks display will be choreographed to a patriotic score performed by The New York Pops. The musical fireworks will be fires from eight barges in two locations in New York City - the East River and South Street Seaport at approximately 9:20 PM. Dazzling over 3 million live spectators, the amazing display of pyrotechnic firepower will launch over 1,300 shells per minute, making the Macy's Fireworks not only the most exciting patriotic display in the nation, but also the largest."

4th of July New York style...I'm ready.
Happy 4th!
